Flashlight

I have pictures of you all over my room

Because when times get dark I want to see the light

And you are my light.

Like a flashlight scaring away the monsters

You scare away the bad thoughts

You chase them from my head

And then look over your shoulder to smile at me

And I know as long as you are by my side,

I am more than alright.
